We Love the voice of Sissel!  We had the opportunity to see her “Northern Lights” special on PBS recently and adored it. It was beautifully performed and just a stunning video. We were fortunate to tape it and of course, made a special video for YouTube viewing. Have a very special treat and see this special video we have put together:

Her album is now nominated for two Grammies: Best Classical Crossover Album and Best Engineered Album – Classical.

Not only is she known for having an exceptionally beautiful voice, but she is also known for her mastery of a great variety of musical genres. Sissel has performed operatic arias and centuries-old classical melodies as well as traditional folk and pop. She has sung with a variety of notables from José Carreras and Plácido Domingo, to French singer Charles Aznavour, American rapper Warren G, Richard Marx, Josh Groban, the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and the Lord of the Rings Symphony. She has appeared at the Winter Olympics, the Nobel Peace Prize concert, and she’s on the biggest-selling film soundtrack of all time, “Titanic”. …more…
