Stunning and incredible!! This is a tour you just cannot miss. If you tuned in to PBS for the viewing, you know what a treat it was but there is nothing quite like seeing it live! The staging is wonderful and Celine, as always, fantastic in voice and performance. Celine’s “A New Day” Concert, Live from Las Vegas was aired on PBS on May 31 and will re-air again on June 4, June 7 in the WETA viewing area. This is a wonderful concert and if you have not seen in in person or have the DVD, check out your local PBS affiliates for time and channels.

The most beautiful duet ever in classical-crossover music … a gorgeous blend of two fantastic voices and it has proven itself by its award-winning, chart-topping and record-breaking statistics since first heard in Andrea Bocelli’s “Romanza”! It is an all-time favorite of ClassyMusic. The PBS Great Performances special produced by “Thirteen/WNET” Vivere: Andrea Bocelli Live in Tuscany” is a musical and vocal delight. This music is timeless much like Andrea’s duets with Celine Dion, Heather Headley, Laura Pausini and Josh Groban. All are beautiful and refreshing in a day where we are bombarded with electronic, manufactured voices and sounds. Give your eyes and ears a musical feast!
Some blessings just never quit and Celine is one of those rare people that we can depend upon for the best in performance and voice! She is definitely the “queen of the long note” and what a voice and what a performer! We are always so incredibly blessed when we see her, whether live, TV or on video. Her recent CBS Special “That’s Just The Woman In Me” was really excellent and we loved all of her performances and songs. How much? Enough to create several videos and put them up. Last evening here on the EC, Andrea Bocelli’s new album Vivere (from Tuscany) was programmed on PBS and I missed the first half and was so disappointed but just learned it is airing in other places and you do not want to miss it if you like classical music and these other lovely voices. What I did get to see was fantastic. I have all of his albums and they are all wonderful. Here is the description of Vivere:
